The machine was designed according to our Total Workflow Control philosophy, to provide an automatic flexo plate mounting solution that looks after all the different steps of the typical flexo plate mounting workflow:

Flexo mounting tape application, with the Taper Slide 3.0 tape applicator any operator can master the tape application
Plate automatic alignment, the integrated robotic manipulator handles any flexo plate to the perfect alignment
Plate application, the automatic plate application roller ensures perfect bond strenght without air bubbles or plate skew
Quality control, the machine verifies mounting accuracy automatically, giving you the confidence to always obtain the highest quality standard in flexo plate mounting.

The automation system, managed via an easy to use touchscreen interface, guarantees the automatic positioning of all machine components for the highest precision.
The machine software is designed for connection with company information systems and can be integrated into Industry 4.0.

“Double decker” hd camera system

Two independent “Double Decker” camera arrays, equipped with high-magnification lenses, dedicated LED illumination, and autofocus.
The unique configuration achieves maximum detection performance even with used/deformed plates.

“Anti curl” system

It minimizes the typical deformations of used plates, increasing the possibility of automatic application of flexographic plates and thus increasing their life span and the overall Flexo process sustainability

Taper Slide 3.0

The new Taper Slide 3.0 tape applicator features a new design completely embodied within the machine footprint for improved ergonomics.

It incorporates a full width tape application roller to always ensure the perfect adhesion of the tape with no bubbles or stretching, ensuring a massive reduction in waste of the expensive plate mounting tape and a perfect bond strength always.

The rotary tape holder system allows quick and simple switching between two different tape specifications such as from medium density to hard density tape.

The integrated tape cutting device always delivers perfect tape joints without damaging the sleeve underneath.

The automatic mandrel positioning guarantees very tight and precise tape joints without any stress or effort to even the most inexperienced operators.
